Information

The Sun – Our nearest Star.
What are stars and what are they made of?

In this talk we will consider how astronomers have answered these questions by considering the nearest star – the Sun.
We will also discuss the life cycles of stars like the Sun from their formation in vast clouds of dust and gas to their endings as white dwarf 'stellar remnants' billions of years later.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A LIVE IN PERSON PRODUCTION HELD IN OUR FRIARAGE THEATRE.

If you require wheelchair access seating, then please contact the Box Office as we allocate a specific seating area for this.
